Support and Renewals


Please Note: This applies to the customer-hosted (Intranet) version only since EIOBoard-hosted (Internet) is a pay-for-use subscription-based service that must be maintained to use EIOBoard.

Investing in your technology infrastructure has become a necessity these days just to stay competitive. Savance recognizes that necessity by continued product development and enhancements on what already works well. In addition, Savance realizes that any investment in your business requires continued support to assist with the demands from the staff that use the product day in and day out.

With any purchase, you automatically receive one full year of support and upgrades. After the first year, rather than charging for individual support cases and each individual upgrade, Savance offers an annual software maintenance package. This support and upgrade service:

Support and Renewals    

Telephone/Email/Helpdesk Support M-F (9AM-5PM EST)

We are normally available and responsive outside of normal business hours as well

Upgrades e-mailed to assigned organization administrator when available (typically 3-6 month product release cycle).

Actively accept request for software improvements and attempt to integrate them into our release schedule free of charge

Access to our knowledge base and online support center

   
 

The value that Savance provides as part of this contract is unlike any other software vendor. Our service level is the same high service level that you experienced during the first year using our product. You’ll feel confident knowing that one of your valued investments will continue to run smoothly. This sounds great, but how much does this service cost?


A support and upgrade maintenance contract for an additional year depends on the total software purchase price. Reduced rates are given if multiple years are purchased in advance.


What if I choose not to renew my product?


We stand by our word that when you purchase the customer-hosted (Intranet) software, you are buying the software outright along with one year of service. Support and upgrades after this first year are totally optional. However, if you chose not to renew your contract, you will no longer be entitled to receive our support and upgrades we deliver throughout the year.


How much does it cost to renew after my support and upgrades expires?


You must pay the full published price for the user level required if your support and renewal contract expires.


Can I renew just one module or only some of my licenses?


Unfortunately, since our products are tightly integrated and we must staff our support specialist based on all of your licenses, we require that all products, modules, and licenses be renewed together.
