Users using the Kiosk Interface will access the Kiosk first by touching in their ID number, scanning their fingerprint, or using their badge card. Once logged in, users can then update their in and out status by simply touching the touch screen on the kiosk.
If the user does not simply want to set their status to In, Out, or the configurable status, then they can select Other Status, and choose from their organization's status list.
When a user chooses their status, and In is not selected, the user is then prompted to enter a comment and return time. They do so directly from the touch screen. If the user touches Comment, then a small keyboard will appear on the screen. Once a user enters a comment and touches a return time, the Kiosk returns to the main screen and awaits its next user.
The Kiosk Interface also offers some configurable settings. An organization can choose to not allow its users to log in via the keypad forcing users to have to log in via one of the external options such as a Biometric Fingerprint Scanner. An organization can also force the users to enter a pin after they enter their ID. This could help prevent users from marking in their co-workers. Finally, the Kiosk Interface can be set up to integrate with various external devices such as a door lock.
